To advance the education of the public in the contribution made by the people from the Indian subcontinent, the continent of Africa and the Caribbean who served in the Armed Forces of the Crown, whether by land, sea or in the air during the World Wars, 1914-18 & 1939-1945 and subsequently through the provision of an educational programme and an annual commemoration at the Memorial Gates in London.
