TO RELIEVE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS AND ANIMALS ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENT OR NATURAL HAZARDS WITHIN THE AREA OF GREAT BRITAIN AND PARTICULARLY ON THE MOUNTAINS OF CUMBRIA IN THE VICINITY OF KESWICK AND TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SUCURE AND EFFICIENT SEARCH AND RESCUE OF ANY PERSON OR PERSONS OR ANIMALS SO ENDANGERED.
