THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1) TO REBUILD, RESTORE AND PRESERVE HISTORIC NARROWBOATS, BUTTYS, BARGES AND OTHER CANAL ARTIFACTS AND TO ENSURE THEY ARE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF WORKING NARROWBOATS BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
